MSP 5 Foundation (Managing Successful Programmes) is an international framework for managing and leading complex change initiatives. The key to delivering successful programmes on time and within budget is strong and effective leadership – and MSP® is one of the world’s most widely adopted and recognised methods for achieving just that. Based on Best Practice experiences, MSP Foundation is designed to be easily tailored to individual needs and specific contexts. The videos in the MSP® Foundation course are in English, and both the course materials and the exam are conducted in English. Managing Successful Programmes is a certification for programme managers. MSP has recently been released in its 5th edition. The manual is of very high quality, featuring many well-designed illustrations. MSP belongs to the same family as PRINCE2, MoP, and P3O, among others.
MSP 5 Foundation is aimed at individuals who are interested in learning how to successfully manage multiple projects and programmes. The course provides the theoretical knowledge required to plan, manage, and deliver programmes from start to finish.
It is designed to support programme or project managers, those working in a programme office, business change managers, and members of programme and project delivery teams who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the MSP guidance in order to work more effectively in a broader project or programme environment.
Course Objectives
By participating in MSP Foundation, you will gain an understanding of how to manage and deliver a change programme within an organisation – programmes characterised by high complexity, multiple dependencies, significant risks, and competing priorities. You will be equipped with tools to handle the challenges of implementing a change programme and provided with a framework to manage and control all aspects of programme management.
Who is this course for?
The MSP® Foundation course is relevant for individuals involved in leading, managing, supporting, or delivering programmes. This includes programme managers, Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), change managers, and staff working in programme or portfolio offices. Anyone working with business strategy will also benefit from attending this course.
